Yes I'm Different Kit from The Urban Fairy

This kit is, well, different!!  Yes I'm Different was created by The Urban Fairy to honor her middle daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD not long ago...

"With that in mind, and the thought of some other amazing children I know, I created this collection. It's full of colors that she loves and work well together. It's something that even she has enjoyed working with! I filled it up with 53 'kid approved' elements and 10 'loved' papers! This is hopefully a kit she and I {and you!} will go back to a million times!"

It's available now at the Digital Scrapbook Studio along with all its coordinating elements

And here are some of the layouts I have created using Yes I'm Different.

The first is of Jack taking a delicious bite out of his 2year old Bday candle

The second is also using The Urban Fairy's Blendaholics Version 2 Masks

Amazing new Collab - Morning Memories

The Urban Fairy, NibblesSkribbles and Jilbert's Bits of Bytes just put out a HUGE collab at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio. It is really cute and contains some really fun elements. I especially love the watercolor papers. The collab bundle can be found here for only $8.99 for a limited time!

"Clouds with a tint of orange and yellow; the sky waking to a brand new blue; watching the fingers of fog disappearing over the hills as the sun chases it away; the fresh cup of coffee that someone else made for you. What are your morning memories?"

Check out a couple of the layouts that I made with this cute kit and some of the extras.

This one is of a couple of pictures I took a few years ago of some artists painting on Cape Cod.  I was just so taken with their paint pallets and the vibrant colors.

The next is of a friend's little girl.  Isn't she adorable?  Thanks to Tobin Curran and Maryann Brown for the beautiful photo.

Just a fun one for me!

I have been meaning to scrap more of the pictures from my husband's company picnic a couple of weeks ago.  It was a lot of fun for the kids and they had a hula hoop contest, limbo, a steel drum band, a large surf board for the kids to play on, facepainting AND FREE snow cones. The boys got their arms painted instead of their faces and of course Jack had to get a traffic cone.  He LOVES to stack and unstack and restack those little traffic cones! And Greyson got a baseball surrounded by flames.  Haha.  Future southpaw hall of famer in training!!  We also rented one of those 4 person bicycles which the kids really got a kick out of.  They also wore (ill-fitting) helmets  for the first time. HAAAAAA-et as Jack calls them. A fun day wa had by all!

Used a lot of random elements on this one.  This is how I USED to scrap: piece by piece and not using a coordinated kit per se. It can be fun to seach through my digital stash to find bits and pieces or just scroll through my stuff and see if anything pops out at me.  I also used a layout I saw by joelsgirl on Sweet Shoppe Designs (I think she must be on the creative team of Kristin Cronin-Barrow and/or Zoe Pearn) as inspiration.

Second kit this week! The Urban Fairy's My Royal Blush

The Urban Fairy has been busy!  She came out with another extraordinary kit this week called My Royal Blush.  This one is crazy, with all sorts of extras including Latin and English word bits, Edges, stamps and brushes, card stock, damask papers and patterned papers.  They are all available at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio HERE.

So I did a few Layouts for this kit and I'd like to share with you two that I created that are very similar but one was using the Page Kit (PK) only while the other has many of the extras. The picture is from our Italy trip in 2012.  I call this "Triptych"

This one used the PK only.  It is soft and calm.

I added a few brushes, word bits and edges to this one.

Which do you like better??

Here are a more couple LOs, also from our trip to Italy
